I’m Beth, the director of Beth J Photography.
Firstly welcome to my page, I’m so grateful that your here and for the time you are taking out of your day to have a look at what I offer! If you’r here it must mean one thing, your looking for the perfect photographer for you. Whether you are on the hunt for someone to capture those magical moments as a newly wed couple, or the big cheesy grins on the little ones faces at a family shoot, my aim is to fully capture the moments of those very special memories which we all hold close to our hearts.
So, Whats my story?
If I’m taking your photographs, you may want to know a little bit about the face behind the camera …
From a very young age, I was constantly taking photographs on whatever I could get my hands on, whether that being the digital camera I was given for school trips, or family members phones, anything I liked the look of had to be photographed.
After doing my GCSE’s during the pandemic, the time had come where I was able to decide what I wanted to do in the future. It was really a no brainer for me, as soon as a saw ‘Photography’ as a subject to study, my name went straight down. I attended Merthyr Tydfil College, in Wales where I studied photography at A level for two years. After achieving great grades in all three A levels, I knew photography was what I wanted to settle into.
I then went onto second shoot for Harry, the director of Flow Photography. Here I gained the people skills that are required to becoming a wedding photographer. During this time, I also got many friends/family to model for me to get some family shoots for advertisement purposes, I’m now known as the friend with the camera.
In a small nutshell, that brings us up to today, where I am now the director of Beth J photography. I will forever be grateful for my lovely couples and clients for keeping me busy, everyday is completely different and I love it!!! From capturing first kisses, to the first family photoshoot with your new tiny human, Beth J photography is there for every magical moment that life throws at you. With me, not only will you be booking a photographer, you will be booking a friend for life.
